What You Can Expect
Through Speakers, moms receive...
- Instruction. Topics
revolve around marriage, mothering, womanhood, homemaking, and time
management - all applied according to biblical principles.
Through Discussion Groups, moms
experience
- Community. Moms are divided into small groups
for the year to reflect on the day's topic.
- Self-worth. Moms become convinced of the value
of mothering and the purpose of life.
- Support. Discussion group members share
concern with others who experience similar struggles, thereby receiving
encouragement and input.
- Intimacy. Moms develop mutual, lasting,
committed friendships.
Through Crafts, moms pursue...
- Self Discovery and Development. By completing
a craft, moms develop individual abilities, gifts, and skills.
Through MOPPETS, moms appreciate...
- Quality Child Care. Volunteers create a loving
atmosphere where infants through two-year-olds can play with peers, getting
to know one another and their caregivers. Dedicated Christian teachers
introduce chldren ages 2 1/2 through 5 to Christ via organized lessons,
crafts, Bible stories, and group play. Based on their age at the time of
enrollment, children are assigned to a class for the entire year.
Through all of MOPS, moms seek...
- Recreation, Spiritual Development, and Balance. Moms
set aside demands in order to be refreshed, and to balance completion and
flexibility. Outings and special events for families complete the MOPS
experience.
