THE SERMON TITLE this morning is Reasons for Praise. The crowd on Palm Sunday has gotten a bad rap. Often the storyline is those folk were fainthearted followers of Jesus at best, mere hangers-around-the-edges at worst, for on Good Friday those same folk were the ones chanting for Jesus to be crucified. Such is not the case. It was a different crowd of folk for each event. The crowd on Palm Sunday had good reasons for praising the Lord Jesus. We will look at some of those reasons, but with a view to examining our praises! Why do we (or, don’t we) praise the Lord Jesus? There can be right and wrong reasons.
EASTER SUNDAY is one week from today. The sacrament of Holy Communion will be shared. Please come prepared in heart and mind to share in this sacrament.

NEW WOMEN’S BIBLE CLASS starting on Monday, April 17thBreathe – Making Room for Sabbath, a five session study by Priscilla Shirer. One of the greatest challenges among women in our culture is taking time to cease from all the activities and just breathe. We are in bondage to busyness. If you are weary, worn out, and exhausted, then the concept of Sabbath will change your life. The workbook for this study is $9.99 plus S/H and tax. The study does include homework but that is optional to join the class. Please reply by email slnase@gnaseandson.com or call 215-669-1421 to order your book or if you have any questions.

Coffee and donuts will be provided along with people ready to tell you a bit about our church and to answer any questions you might have. As you exit the sanctuary, turn to the left and go to the room all the way at the end of the narthex, just beyond the stairwell and the mission display. We look forward to meeting you.
THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER offerings will be collected today and next Sunday. There is a marked basket on the Welcome Desk where you may place your 30 Pieces offering. This year the 30 Pieces of Silver offering is going to Glad Tidings India as part of the celebratory thanksgiving to God on the occasion of Bill Scott’s 90th birthday, and his 65+ years of missionary labors in India.
