     THE SERMON: “Marked by Miracles”
*  CONFESSION OF SIN: (first in silence then in unison)
C: Faithful Father, we rejoice in Your steadfast love, Your unerring Word, Your constant provision and protection, and Your faithful guidance. Indeed, blessed are the people whose God is the Lord. We confess to You our sin. We are prone to stray to unbelief. Like the disciples, our hearts can become hard as they are distracted by busyness, lured away by worldly interests, intimidated by the bold declarations of ungodliness, given to fear because of cultural upheavals, and burdened by societal strife. Forgive our wavering affections. Restore to us the joy of our salvation, that salvation won for us by Jesus on the cross, and applied to us by the Holy Spirit. May our hearts ever rejoice in You, the one, true, living God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.

THE SERMON TITLE this morning is Marked by Miracles. God makes a way for His apostles. He lowers the hills and raises up the valleys so they have a smooth way to go. In today’s text from Acts we read about the last of the many miracles in that book. It’s precipitated by an act of concern and mercy. That miracle smoothed the way for Paul and the rest of the shipwrecked group to leave Malta with honors. Rome is reached at last! What happened all along the way as the apostles roamed the apostolic world was one miracle after another. Jesus had promised as much. What did those miracles mean; where are they now?
WE WELCOME STEVE YAGILNICKY back into our midst. Steve is a member of Leidy’s Church, but he’s also the President of Love Cradle Ministries International. Love Cradle is this week’s featured mission in our March is Missions Month program. Love Cradle works with Ukrainian orphans to bring hope and help via the gospel of Christ in the context of tangible, wearable, eatable, holdable, livable goods and services.
