We have a variety of music ministries at Leidy's Church.
A choir for grades 1-3. Practices are held on Wednesday nights during Youth Club from mid-October through the end of February. God's Little Angels sing periodically during morning worship services and some holiday services.
A choir for grades 4-6. Practices and performances are the same as God's Little Angels.
The children's musical is a fun event for children of all ages. Performances begin in early January on Saturday mornings, and the musical is presented in early April for both the congregation and local retirement communities.
Fifth
Sunday is the name of the Youth Fellowship worship band, which includes
those in grades 7-12 and some young adults as well. The band leads Sunday
morning worship on the first Sunday of the month (go figure!) and for Youth
Fellowship events as well.
The Contemporary Choir is a vocal group that sings choral arrangements of popular Christian music. Practices are held on Wednesdays at 7pm. New for 2002...the Contemporary Choir will be singing Celtic worship music throughout the year.
The Adult Choir provides anthems during morning worship. Singing primarily traditional arrangements, the Adult Choir practices on Wednesday evenings, from 8-9pm. The Alleluia Choir presents a contemporary worship cantata each May. This choir is open to all ages and has become one of Leidy's largest vocal groups. Practices begin in February and are held on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm.
Bell Choir isn't for singing...but for ringing! The Bell Choir rings for worship services and other events. Practices are held on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm.
Those with vocal and/or instrumental ability are encouraged to provide Special Music for summer worship services. A sign up sheet is posted in early June. Selections are subject to approval by the Pastor and the Director of Music. |
