On Sunday, December 18th, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Symphony Orchestra will present its annual Family Holiday Concert at Leidy’s Church. Not only is this a first for Leidy’s Church, it is the first time the Orchestra has presented an indoor concert in the Souderton area. The concert will begin at 3 pm.

Some of the songs to be presented include Ave Maria, Gesu Bambino, In the Bleak Midwinter, White Christmas, and Sleigh Ride. While the concert will have lighter moments, it also will have reflective moments capturing the humanity, humility, and sacredness of the Christmas season. T’was the Night Before Christmas is part of the program and will feature narration by Pastor Niederhaus. It promises to be the fastest narration on record.

This is a ticketed event. General admission tickets are $20, senior tickets $15, under 18 are $5, and students are free. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Symphony’s website (www.spso.info) or at the door the day of the concert. Need more info? See Bob Bugge.
