ANNOUNCEMENTS

2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the offering pillars at the back of the Sanctuary.
3. Why We Use Creeds & Confessions at Leidy’s Church: In our Sunday worship services at Immanuel Leidy’s Church, you will notice that we regularly use historic creeds and confessions, such as the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Heidelberg Catechism, with others to come. These ancient statements faithfully summarize what the church has long understood the Bible to teach, keeping us anchored in “the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3). These creeds and confessions are not additions to Scripture, but faithful summaries of it—guides that help us worship with clarity, unity, and joy.
4. Leidy’s Church Congregation Meeting will take place on Saturday, January 17th beginning at 6:00. At this meeting a budget will be adopted for 2026. Call the office if you're unable to sign up online. A copy of the budget will be posted on the narthex wall before the meeting.
5. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be shared at the service of worship this morning.
6. Congratulations to Jim Kulp, Brandon Kehs, and Mark Kostishion who will be ordained and installed as Deacons this morning. May God bless their ministry among us.
7. The Staff of Leidy’s Church wishes to say Thank you for the many gracious, generous, thoughtful and encouraging cards, gifts and words received during this Christmas season. You have blessed us all!
8. Ladies of Leidy’s will meet this Tuesday evening at 6:30pm in Rm. 123. Bring a joke that's good enough to tell your pastor! Come enjoy the night with some laughter!
9. NTS Fairy Godmother Event, January 15-17: Help our friends find special outfits to wear to the Night to Shine event! You can help in a few ways: Donate gently used suits, dresses, shoes, jewelry, etc.; Help setup for the event on Thursday, January 15 beginning at 9AM; Help shop with a buddy to find the perfect outfit on Friday beginning at 2pm, or on Saturday beginning at 8am. Email questions to bucksmontnts@gmail.com. Donations can be dropped off at the church office any time before January 14. Thank you!
10. New Precept Study begins this Thursday. The book of 2 Timothy is about guarding the treasure that has been entrusted to us --- the truth of God’s Word. Workbook fee $12 payable at the beginning of class. This study meets in Fellowship Hall and will continue until mid-April. Contact Verna for additional information. (It isn’t necessary to have attended 1 Timothy to be part of 2 Timothy.)
11. Chili Cook-off happens on Saturday, January 24th evening at 5:30. It is a night to support the Night to Shine event that is taking place on February 13th here at Leidy’s. Raffle Baskets are NEEDED for the Chili Cook-Off! 12. New Women’s Sunday School Class: ABIDE – A study of 1,2,3 John, has begun, three short letters that focus on the importance of dwelling on the Word of God, to remain steadfast in our faith.
13. The 2026 Flower Chart is posted on the wall in the narthex for those who would like to sponsor flowers for our sanctuary.
