ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. If you are a guest, please visit the Welcome Desk outside of the Sanctuary and fill out a Connect with Leidy’s Card.

2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars at the back of the Sanctuary.

3. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be shared at the service of worship this morning.

4. The Rummage Sale happens this week. Mary Beth Musselman will be in the narthex to help you sign-up for a time slot to work anytime during the set-up or during the actual sale, Wednesday and Thursday. We especially need help Thursday evening with pack-up at 6:00.

5. The Ladies Book Discussion - Heaven: Your Real Home by Joni Eareckson Tada has begun and will run through December 15 on Mondays from 9:30-11:30 in the Conference Room. If you have questions call Sandy Nase at 215-669-1421.

6. Get Your Operation Christmas Child Box in the narthex. Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Fill a box and return it by November 2nd. Thanks!

7. Today is the date for the annual Abington Life Chain. Since 1991, this event has taken place on the first Sunday of October. We’re invited to join other congregations and individuals for one hour of silent prayer on Old York Road between Guernsey Avenue and Keith Road. It happens between 2 and 3 pm. No registration is required; just show up. If you have questions, call 215-429-3750.

8. Pastor Appreciation Luncheon, Sunday, October 19th, immediately following the service. You're Invited to join us as we celebrate Pastor Darren and thank him for his faithful, humble service to Leidy’s Church - and for the way he supports our congregation. Come enjoy a hearty meal, fellowship, and the joy of honoring our pastor together. Hope to see you there! A card basket is in the narthex for your notes of appreciation.

9. Leidy's Block Party is coming October 25th from 2-6pm! This is an outreach to the community, and we need you to make it happen! Here are a few of the positions that need to be filled: Set-up, Block Party Manager, Dessert Makers, Sidewalk Chalk, Bounce House Patrol, Bingo/Game Host, Food Servers, and Clean up. Sign up to volunteer online or contact the office to see what's available!

10. Night to Shine Guest Registration is opening October 8th. If you have or know of a participating Guest, please remind them to look for NTS emails.

11. We have the opportunity to help those facing hardship in the Souderton area with a complete Thanksgiving meal. These meals will be given out through Keystone Opportunity Center in Souderton. You will find a flyer showing what is needed on the table in the narthex. Help show our care and support for our neighbors this Thanksgiving with a meal for those in need. We will receive donations through Sunday, November 2nd.

12. Zion Choral Choir will be at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Pottstown on Sunday, October 26, the concert begins at 3:00pm.
