ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. If you are a guest, please visit the Welcome Desk outside of the Sanctuary and fill out a Connect with Leidy’s Card.

2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the offering pillars at the back of the Sanctuary.

3. Come, give thanks! Thanksgiving Eve Service happens this Wednesday beginning at 6:00. Begin your Thanksgiving celebration in worship with God’s people.

4. The sacrament of Holy Communion will be shared during the service of worship next Sunday. Come prepared to worship and receive.

5. Come help Leidy’s Church get ready for Christmas! Saturday, November 29th is our decorating day. All décor has already been planned and purchased, but we need lots of extra hands to get everything in place. We’ll be starting at 9 am and hope to finish before noon. 6. Advent Workshop is taking place next Sunday beginning at 4:00. Join us for an evening of fun, building Christmas crafts together, food, and fellowship! Pizza and drinks provided – please bring a dessert to share. Craft sign-ups and samples are on the table outside the Fellowship Hall. Parents, please help younger children pick an appropriate age craft. All are welcome!

7. Community Groups are starting. Join two of the three groups that still have openings! Contact the office for more info.

8. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the Ladies of Leidy’s Christmas Craft Show yesterday, it was a big success! Also, thanks to everyone who placed a yard sign up for us! Please return them to the church office (if they didn’t blow away) so we can re-use them again next year!

9. We are preparing to make our sanctuary look festive and welcoming during the Advent Season. Please consider purchasing a poinsettia to help with these efforts. You will find order slips at the Welcome Desk. Simply fill out the slip, place it in a pew envelope with cash or check, and drop it in one of the collection pillars.

10. 10 tickets have been purchased for the CrossCon Young Adult Conference in Kentucky. We will be traveling by van on Tuesday, Dec. 30th and return Sunday, Jan. 4th. Leidy’s Church is helping to offset some of the costs, but you would be responsible for some of it. If interested, please contact Justin Coale 215-589-8173 for more details.

11. O.A.S.I.S. Christmas Luncheon happens on Wednesday, December 10th from 11:30-1:30. There will be the usual sign-up sheet in the hallway (which helps us know how many folks to prepare for, so please sign up early!). Come for lunch and carol singing, warm fellowship and happy familiar faces and to wish each other a Merry Christmas!!

12. The Souderton Christmas Parade happens on Saturday, December 6th. If you would like to be a part of it, you can sign up online or call the church office.

13. Zion Choral Choir will be at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship in Allentown this afternoon. The concert begins at 3pm. This is their last concert.

14. Women's Sunday School class: An Unlikely Advent.  Please join us to focus on the experiences of a few overlooked characters in the Nativity story. 15. The church has a piano that needs a new home. Call the church office if interested.

16. Ladies of Leidy's will meet for their Christmas meeting on Tuesday, December 2nd beginning at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall.  Sandy Nase will share a devotion with us followed by a short business meeting.   We will have a time for fellowship, wrapping of gifts, and light refreshments.   All ladies are welcome to attend.

17. Needed: A responsible teenager or adult to get a child off the bus and watch them for about 45 minutes every Friday in the Harleysville area. Please contact the church office if interested.

18. The flowers are placed by Ken and Connie Merritt with thankfulness “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the Lord is good.” Psalm 100:4.
