4. Congregational Meeting Update - The congregational meeting has been moved to June 7. We encourage everyone to continue engaging, asking questions, and praying for clarity in the weeks ahead.
5. A great big “Thank You” to all who helped make this week’s Rummage Sale a success. We made $10,436 and more is coming in.
6. Membership Class: Join us on May 31 and June 7, from 8:45-9:45am in the Conference Room to learn more about Leidy’s Church. Scan the QR code on the service screens, follow the link in the weekly newsletter, or contact the office to sign up!
7. On Sunday, May 31st our church service will be an outdoor service on the parsonage lawn so bring a blanket or chairs and dress for a picnic. After the service please stay for a picnic feast! Plus, we'll be offering tours of the newly renovated Parsonage after the Dedication! Take a tour before Pastor Darren and his family move in! Reminder: There is no Sunday School for Sunday in the Shade. Service starts at 10! Invite you neighbors, co-workers, friends and family to this year's Sunday in the Shade!
8. The first two weeks of In Their Shoes collectively got us 1,612 miles, all the way to Winnipeg in Canada! Keep praying for our highlighted missionaries, and don’t forget to turn in your paper logs and pick up your new ones (either at the Missions table on Sundays or in the office during the week). We ask that you turn in your paper logs by Friday, May 29th, so that our final tallies (and awards) at the Missions Brunch on May 30th include your efforts. And thank you!
9. The BMCE Spring B&P Breakfast takes place this Thursday at 6:30. Kathy Piepmeyer, the afternoon voice on radio station WBYN 107.5 Alive is the special speaker. Kathy will share stories from her journey of following God’s call and overcoming personal challenges to arrive as the afternoon host at WBYN 107.5 Alive. Tickets are $25 p/person and may be obtained from the church office or from Jack Parry or John Niederhaus.
10. Don’t forget to sign up for the In Their Shoes with Michael Sander Missions Brunch on Saturday, May 30th. Not only will there be a great spread of food and activities for kids, we’ll get to hear from Michael Sander about his work in Eswatini and with Perspectives. AND we’ll get to celebrate and award the people who logged the most miles during the In Their Shoes challenge. Don’t miss it!
11. A very heartfelt thank you to everyone who was part of the special Mother’s Day offering going to the Carriage Project at Life Turning Point. Your consideration and generosity will be able to make homes for mothers and their children.
12. Third Weekends for Young Adults: Join us at Souderton Park immediately following the service today, to hang out and enjoy the outdoors together! Plan for pizza and snacks, feel free to bring some cards or outdoor games. We hope to see you there!
13. Adopt an Island! Thank you to everyone who helps to keep the lots beautiful! We still have 8 islands left - if you're interested, please contact the office.
14. Fill the Truck - Help us support the Keystone Opportunity Center’s Neighbors! Make a difference for local families. Through the month of May we will be collecting items to be distributed. On the table in the narthex you will find a list of items that are being collected. Items will be collected until May 29th. Please make sure to check expiration dates.
