2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the Get Connected pillars at the back of the Sanctuary.
3. VBS Begins This Week!! We’ll have almost 60 kids joining us this week, and it wouldn’t be possible without all the amazing volunteers! Afterwards, we need your help to put the Wild West scenery away and restore the spaces. Your continued support is appreciated!! Please contact Bekah Kulp if you can help.
4. Thank You to the SLMT workers who spent this past week working at Life Turning Point Philly. Under the direction of Brian Radcliff, the continued renovations on the Carriage House were advanced significantly. Thank You, SLMT workers! That includes folk who worked here, such as Jacqui Shafer who organized lunches and snacks. Remember, there is another week of opportunity when YOU can be a SLMT worker on the Carriage House as August 4-7 is the second work week at Life Turning Point.
5. Daily Prayer Cards are available on the Welcome Desk for you to take home to help you remember to pray for every part of VBS. Prayer is an easy yet vital part of VBS that you can do at home. Please pick one up today!
6. Samaritan’s Purse Relief Trip to Asheville, NC UPDATE! Our original trip with Samaritan’s Purse (Oct 12-17) is no longer available due to full capacity. We are actively working to join Samaritan’s Purse in Burnsville, NC or in Watauga County, Boone, NC. We will notify everyone with updated dates and locations as soon as we receive confirmation. Thanks for your flexibility and continued support!
7. Support one of our own: Verna Bowman will be a guest speaker at Ladies Day at Milford Camp this Saturday August 2, 10am - 1:30pm. A special morning of encouragement, worship & fellowship. This year's topic is "Everyday Praise". The event is free, a free-will offering will be received. For more information go to the Leidy’s weekly newsletter.
8. The Red Cross Blood Drive here at Leidy’s church is August 12th, from 2 – 7pm in the Fellowship Hall. You can sign up online at redcrossblood.org or speak to Rich Kapusta in the narthex after the service today.
9. Join the Leidy's Kids Team! We're looking for Teachers! Are you interested in Teaching or Assisting for either a semester or the year? Perhaps you would like to sub in a classroom on occasion? We'd love to have you join the team! Contact Bekah Kulp if you're able to help! Thank you!!
