2. As you partner with us in the work of the Kingdom, please place your gifts and offerings in the offering pillars at the back of the Sanctuary.
3. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be shared during the service of worship this morning.
4. The Season of Advent begins today. This a four-week preparation to celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus. We have an Advent Wreath in the chancel that will have another candle lighted each week. Each will feature one element of our anticipation of the birth of Jesus. This first week it is Hope.
5. Congratulations to Levi & Morgan Slack at the birth of a son, David Lorne, and to Bob & Georgia Kowalski at the birth of a son, Everett Francis. May God be with them as they grow in Him.
6. Advent Workshop happens today at 4:00pm. Crafters please be on time, crafts will start promptly! Don’t forget a dessert to share.
7. Community Groups are starting. Join two of the three groups that still have openings! Contact the office for more info.
8. We are preparing to make our sanctuary look festive and welcoming during the Advent Season. Please consider purchasing a poinsettia to help with these efforts. You will find order slips at the Welcome Desk. Simply fill out the slip, place it in a pew envelope with cash or check, and drop it in one of the collection pillars.
9. 10 tickets have been purchased for the CrossCon Young Adult Conference in Kentucky. We will be traveling by van on Tuesday, Dec. 30th and return Sunday, Jan. 4th. Leidy’s Church is helping to offset some of the costs, but you would be responsible for some of it. If interested, please contact Justin Coale 215-589-8173 for more details.
10. O.A.S.I.S. Christmas Luncheon happens on Wednesday, December 10th from 11:30-1:30. There will be the usual sign-up sheet in the hallway (which helps us know how many folks to prepare for, so please sign up early!). Come for lunch and carol singing, warm fellowship and happy familiar faces and to wish each other a Merry Christmas!!
11. The Souderton Christmas Parade happens this Saturday, December 6th. If you would like to be a part of it, you can sign up online or call the church office.
12. Women's Sunday School class: An Unlikely Advent. Please join us to focus on the experiences of a few overlooked characters in the Nativity story.
12. Ladies of Leidy's will meet for their Christmas meeting this Tuesday, beginning at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Sandy Nase will share a devotion with us followed by a short business meeting. We will have a time of fellowship, wrapping of gifts, and light refreshments. All ladies are welcome to attend.
13. Leidy's Special Needs Caregiver Support Group will not be meeting during the week of Christmas. Regular meetings are on the 2nd & 4th Fridays of the month. Contact the office for more info!
