4. Pastor Appreciation Luncheon, Sunday, October 19th, immediately following the service. You're Invited to join us as we celebrate Pastor Darren and thank him for his faithful, humble service to Leidy’s Church - and for the way he supports our congregation. 5. Leidy's Block Party is coming October 25th from 2-6pm! This is an outreach to the community, and we need you to make it happen! Here are a few of the positions that need to be filled: Set-up, Block Party Manager, Dessert Makers, Sidewalk Chalk, Bounce House Patrol, Bingo/Game Host, Food Servers, and Clean up. Sign up to volunteer online or contact the office to see what's available!
6. The Ladies Book Discussion will not be held tomorrow but will resume on October 20th. If you have questions call Sandy Nase at 215-669-1421.
7. Get Your Operation Christmas Child Box in the narthex. Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Fill a box and return it by November 2nd. Thanks!
8. We have the opportunity to help those facing hardship in the Souderton area with a complete Thanksgiving meal. These meals will be given out through Keystone Opportunity Center in Souderton. You will find a flyer showing what is needed on the table in the narthex. Help show our care and support for our neighbors this Thanksgiving with a meal for those in need. We will receive donations through Sunday, November 2nd.
9. Join us this Wednesday evening for our monthly Prayer Meeting beginning at 7:00.
10. Visit the Leidy’s Church Tent this Friday for the last 3rd Friday of the season in Souderton.
11. Zion Choral Choir will be at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Pottstown on Sunday, October 26, the concert begins at 3:00pm.
12. Do you live in a high-traffic area? We have plenty of yard signs for our Craft Show on Nov. 22nd . . . so help us get the word out! Two sizes of print are available . . . depending on how fast people drive by your house! Stop by the office and please put a sign up for us!
